There are only three words that separate the professionals from everyone else.

Landscape. Industry. Certified.

Just because you think you’re a PRO, doesn’t make you a PRO.

Qualified.

Trusted.

Recognized.

Three Steps to Certification

1. Register

Select the certification designation that best describes your job responsibilities and career needs, and register for the exam. You have three years from when you register to complete your certification exam.

2. Prepare

All exams are self-study and materials are available for purchase through the MBNLA store. Check out the online training videos for the Technician designation available with your study materials. Study ‘on the job’ when you incorporate the materials in your everyday activities at work.

3. Test

After you have studied and feel confident in your chosen certification speciality, it’s time to put it to the test! Review the testing options under your chosen designation and schedule your exam with Manitoba Nursery Landscape Association.

Stay Certified

Earning your certification designation is the first step in establishing yourself as a professional. Ensure your hard-earned certification remains current by participating in work-related learning opportunities. Every two years, you are required to re-certify by reporting on 24 continuing education units (CEUs) earned through continuing education and professional development. Guidelines for maintaining your certification will be included in your certification information package when you pass your exam.
